For most Western people is having a household staff a special experience. A mix of guilty feelings, because you can pick up a glass of water for yourself, and cultural differences block a nice contact with the helpers in the beginning. It is not easy to find the best distance with the staff. Of course this distance depends entirely on yourself and your staff.
